Iran’s 14-point plan explained: Is peace possible?

Iran has introduced a new proposal aimed at ending the conflict — but key issues may be delayed.

According to officials in Tehran, the plan outlines a two-phase approach to diplomacy. In the first phase, both sides would work toward a full end to the war. The second phase, expected within 30 days, would focus on implementing the agreement and addressing more complex issues.

Esmaeil Baghaei emphasized that the proposal is not a deadline-based negotiation, but a structured sequence designed to avoid pressure and allow talks to progress gradually.
