An Ebola survivor in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo is urging people to seek medical treatment and reject misinformation that continues to fuel fear of the disease.
Gladys Munguroma says she delayed going to hospital because she believed rumours that patients would not survive. After receiving treatment, she recovered and is now sharing her story to encourage others to seek care early and help combat false information surrounding the outbreak.
